Why clear aligners?

To correct malocclusion, a growing number of patients and doctors prefer clear aligners to traditional wires and brackets, due to advantages such as:

• No dietary restrictions
• No obstructions to flossing or brushing
• Controlled single-tooth movement
• Remote monitoring options

The treatment

A digital scan will be taken off your whole mouth and a virtual before and after result will be sent back to you within 2 weeks. You will then discuss with your dentist at TiggaSmile whether you are happy with the results and to go ahead with treatment. You may have non-invasive enameloplasty (removal of small sections of enamel) from your teeth to enable to create space for tooth movement. Aligners will need to be worn for at least 22hours a day until the end of your treatment. You will need to wear either a fixed or removable retainers after your treatment has finished so that your teeth do not move back to their original position.
